RideFinder.

This page explains how information is used when you browse RideFinder or send us an enquiry.
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, topic and message. We use these details to respond to your enquiry. Your message is delivered to our team’s inbox through Resend; your email address is used so we can reply.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for spam. We do not maintain a separate website database of enquiries. Correspondence is handled in our email service.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and how people use RideFinder. This includes page views, use of the ride selector, clicks through to our specialist sites, review-play clicks and successful contact submissions.
The analytics events we add record categories such as your selected riding goal, destination site and where a link was clicked. They do not include your name, email address or message text. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect browser and device information. You can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings.
Saved outings
When you save an outing, its identifier is stored in your browser on this device. There is no account and your saved list is not sent to RideFinder. Unsave outings to remove them, or clear this website’s storage in your browser. Shared outing links do not include your saved list.
Outing analytics record fixed categories such as filters, outing identifiers, save actions and clicks to maps, local planning resources or specialist sites. Starting-point links open Google Maps only when selected; we do not request your location.
Videos, fonts and external links
Review thumbnails are loaded from YouTube. A YouTube player is loaded only when you choose to play a review. Video requests connect your browser to YouTube. Our fonts are served from RideFinder itself.
Our links to BikeFinder, eBikeFinder, ScootFinder, CarTell.tv and social platforms take you to other websites. Their own privacy practices apply when you use them.
Services used by this website
RideFinder is hosted on Vercel. Contact delivery, spam protection, analytics and video use the services described above. You can read more in the privacy information from Vercel, Resend, Cloudflare and Google.
