Make the ride the reason to visit the Barossa. Follow the trail from Angaston towards Nuriootpa, take a town-side pause and return with time left for the old station precinct. Allow for a climb back towards Angaston.
SA Tourism lists Angaston to Nuriootpa as a 6 km section. Allow about 12 km return between the trail endpoints, with extra distance for town or food detours. Time is a planning allowance, not a measured ride time.

Barossa: current cycling mapsAlong the way
This is not a continuous flat promenade. Expect changes in gradient and road crossings, and follow the shared-use route rather than the map’s optional road rides.
These are bicycle outings. Scooter access and e-bike requirements need a separate check for the device and location.
A couple of useful answers.
Does this include a winery visit?
No. The outing follows the town-to-town trail. Winery and food stops add access planning, opening-hour checks and distance.
Is the pump track part of the route?
No. The Adventure Station is a useful start and finish. Its skills features require a separate judgement about the rider’s ability.
